Do you need to wait for a invite? I don't want to overstep and show up all unwanted. But it looks like good reading.

I'm with you. The Vanity Fair article this month only made me look forward to it more; it'll be interesting hearing all sorts of things directly from him. I hope there's a good chunk of the book devoted to his friendship with Clarence.
Do you have to be in A level physics to like learning about science, even at a beginner level, though? If you've rarely been exposed to it outside of school (where it may not have been presented in a way that makes sense to you) but you're seeing things in pop culture that are science-adjacent and appeal to you, and…
Heeeeeey watch it there
My Papa Murphy's philosophy exactly.
Excellent! But will John Simm be back?
Yeah, I find both the chicken sandwich and the chicken salad sandwich there to be dry as hell. I don't get the hype.
The guy standing in the corner was the one thing I thought was scary and disturbing. Good stuff. I also liked the little stick figures hanging from the trees (I was going to do that from the tree in my front yard for Halloween one year). The rest of it didn't do much for me.
I agree, Moonrise Kingdom, is one of my two favorites of his. (GBH is the other.)
One of my co-workers' last day is today, and while I like her well enough, I don't like her quite well enough to want to give her my phone number. It may sound cold, but we're not really ever going to be friends; she can easily drive me crazy. She asked for it Monday and ever since then, I've felt like I need to avoid…
Mmm, a deli that I love in a nearby town serves a roast beef, cheddar, and sprouts on sourdough that i LOVE. Adding hummus and avocado sounds amazing.
Yeah, I'm a "matinee, by myself" person. $5 movies, no distractions, no trying to juggle other peoples' schedules.
That sounds great.
My doctor FINALLY got back to me about my bloodwork a few weeks back (long vacation, I think) and despite the fact that I'm feeling much better from the reason I went in for, now she's saying the bloodwork says I'm anemic. She wants me to come in and she's already drained my HSA account from the last appointment.…
What a waste of a Saturday. :(
Good luck, I hope it's nothing.
Still walking three times a week and am getting close to being able to make it two miles in a half an hour without collapsing. Sunday, all day after my morning walk, I kept randomly thinking "I feel great". This is the first time I've ever exercised at all in any way that actually makes me feel good.
Happy birthday! Where are you going?
My thoughts are with you.
God, hang in there. Work shit is at least bearable if you have an okay home life to go to and vice versa, but when you've got stress on both ends, it's intolerable. (I remember your post from last week about cleaning out the house and YIKES.)
