As it should be!
As it should be!
HE SAID CONCERTS ARE LOUD
Ah. (Should have known I'd see you in this thread!)
You're gonna have a great time tonight.
Why on Earth do they have a "concert curfew" in the first place? Is this the town in Footloose or something? And that joyless council member who doesn't even want to let people have a measly extra fifteen minutes of fun … my God, lady.
It's simultaneously too sweet and full of acid somehow. Always hated it.
I liked Mike best, because I thought it took a very brave person to be the one to stick around in that town. And his stories about the town were probably, looking back, my favorite part of the book. They were chilling, especially the parts where he'd mention a photo attached to the stories and there was something…
Oh, I'm sorry.
I'm so sorry. That's rough.
Hmph! Dickish desk dude.
LUCKY
I had no idea until Monday that this was Labor Day weekend so I have no real plans. Bestie & her husband are leaving on a road trip today, so no cookouts at their place (that they know of anyway, ha ha). I'm thinking home spa weekend.
That block party sounds awesome.
I've found that my bullet journal/book of lists is a massive help to me plotting out all the necessary baby steps along the way to getting a project done. Otherwise, I hit a snag i hadn't thought of, and it throws me for a loop. I've got several projects right now including the preliminary work before I can even start…
Yeah, I'd drop it. There are other electives you'll do well in, as you said, and anything that you don't have to take that makes you angry, depressed, cynical or upset isn't worth it.
Thanks for taking the time to post that. I'm new to being more than a casual fan of his and had been looking forward to learning something from you over time.
I was looking forward to hearing what you said about the book and cd!
Wait, what? No! I like you! And you're a fellow Springsteen fan!
Honestly, I'm having trouble picturing him or anyone else getting the right note of fussiness in his voice while saying "IT'S HEDLEY!"
I would pay good money to see that. Especially because I'm picturing the stage-adapted version of The French Mistake.
