Oh my God. Those people are horrible. Ugh.

Congratulations on the progress! Watching that number go down feels great.
I've been wanting to read "The Howling" but finding a copy that isn't $50-ish is hard.
The Golem and the Jinniis on my Goodreads to read list, so I'm glad to hear that - I'm in the market for "light but substantial."
I need to re-read both. I enjoyed them so much the first time but that was a long, long time ago.
I had never heard of this "Yoga Store Murder" book, but Google tells me that is indeed a real thing, so now I'm intrigued. I'll look into adding that to my Goodreads list.
Congrats on the job and get something good at the art show!
Good luck!
That's a long time. I hope you have fun with them!
Exactly. Waiting till the day before the new season starts to be able to stream the last one is apparently still going to be a thing.
I'm imagining wearing all that to a crowded venue or the beach, and now I'm feeling a little faint. You guys at least kept hydrated, yeah?
I'm with you. I don't understand the whole thing about that. Surely, people aren't actually expected to pay attention to rules other people laid down about when it's acceptably cool to wear something you own?
Upvoted for that last line.
While I would never grab a stranger (unless we were both really, really excited) and yell at them, or flash my tits, um… everyone Alex describes, they are my people, more or less. And we're generally fairly mild-mannered as far as concert behavior goes.
Sadly, as Supervisor is not himself Tragically Hip (though, nor am I, it must be said) it was not played.
Nope, actually, she is doing a one off at a local Independence Day celebration apparently. I kind of have a hard time believing it, but the City of Dublin can't exactly get away with lying about such a thing, so I have to assume it's legit.
Sounds like the best of both worlds - family fun and peace and quiet.
I've seen her once before, in the driving rain, and she played despite being soaked through to the bone. She kicks ass.
My Canadian supervisor is celebrating the run-up to our leaving early today for the Fourth by playing a long playlist of Canadian artists. We're on Black Velvet by Alannah Myles right now.
If I can get a ticket, I'm going to a Joan Jett concert with fireworks after on the 4th.
