I always look forward to the food articles; the comments on them are consistently the funniest.

There'd eventually be a Purge involved, all right.
He hasn't done anything close to illegal yet, he's more of a nuisance. But believe me, I loathe him so much that the instant he crosses that line, I will be on the phone.
Thanks! He makes me really uncomfortable. He's a renter in a neighborhood of mostly owners, and his landlord won't do anything about him, so I don't have a lot of recourse.
Yeah, if he sees me in the parking lot, he catcalls me. It's gross and embarrassing. Especially because it's otherwise a quiet neighborhood full of older people (I'm one of the youngest at 46) and people just don't DO that here.
As for my own Fuck This Shit business, the neighbor I share a wall with is a noisy, thudding, pounding, slamming, loud-music-playing, loud-tv-playing, catcalling asshole. For various reasons, there isn't a lot I can do about this one. God, I hate him and want him OUT.
Thank you! Happy to know you too!
I am trying to figure out how to turn the big empty planting area in my front yard into a rock garden, and part of that is figuring out where to get the right size of rocks without paying a bajillion dollars. Also, I'm going to anchor it on each side with a hosta.
Poor thing! I wish her a speedy recovery.
I look forward to this thread all week. I've said this elsewhere, but I lurked for about a year before getting up the nerve to post and I've come to know and like so many of you that it's nice to get to interact with you.
That sounds fun!
If we're lucky enough to be able to get any leftover tickets, my two best friends and I are going to an almost free Joan Jett & The Blackhearts concert in a nearby suburb and staying afterward for the fireworks.
Looking forward to tomorrow's article by Gwen. I loved Wonder Woman when I was a kid, which also happened to be the '70s. Well, I loved the comics. I didn't like the show.
Well, yet.
It's less about his taking a moral stand, I think - a lot of us probably do that, I do too - as much as it is how mis-aimed his particular stance seems.
Hope it's great! (What's left of it at this late hour.)
So young, so talented, so likeable, such a horrible way to die. That poor kid.
I hope the whole thing goes smoothly for you and then goes away forever.
I had my annual review yesterday and it was glowing. My boss is the best and she and I have a great working relationship. I don't make a lot of money, but I enjoy what I do and who I do it with, and they appreciate me. I can't complain.
Right? I remember being totally shocked and never quite being able to take for granted what they might do after that. Not that they ever got that extreme again, but at the time … you just didn't know.
