This is invaluable. As a doctor this is something I rigorously do with every communication and action, because the potential for miscommunication, misunderstanding and subsequent litigation is huge.

Oops... I meant to say it seems stupid to do it ONline, of course...

I've been doing the equivalent for years with a simple .txt file. Easy to search, easy to break up and available OFFLINE! Particularly with different kinds of wires, cables and accessories it's saved me throwing stuff all over the place on numerous occasions...

This is an amazingly simple and really useful tip. A true lifehack. I've used it at least a dozen times already today!

Belatedly, I've just done this. Brilliant tutorial, and despite some of the previous posts it DOES work on a WRT54G.

Stellarium is definitely better if you're an amateur and want to familiarise yourself with the night sky - learn star names, constellations et al., but the level of deep field image detail in Google Sky is way greater than Stellarium.

@raynar: Well, you can make it a little more difficult.

I'm surprised to be honest. I find the star system invaluable and I use it pretty much as is.

Kind of with you on this, but as for digging the original I can kind of see why people don't.

Been doing this for ages. It's actually pretty widespread and adapted for lots of other things.
