Beyond a shadow of a doubt the lack of an undo feature. Whenever I am using my tablet or phone for anything productive this just does my head in.

I'm a bit lost here. When the restore last session doesn't come up it takes just seconds to get back to where I was by just going to history and control clicking the tabs I want back... Why would you need to go through this complex process?

Ditto, love mine. And I second the use of dog clips - I just rip them off the lanyards I get given for name tags at conferences and stick those on my keychain.

Doesn't that mean you are just depriving yourself of an additional hour of quality sleep, which is much more refreshing than an hour of light snooze.

Prejudice is judging someone (in this case the makers of something) on the basis of the perceived characteristics of some or other group to which they belong, without taking account of the individual. Her comment was unequivocally prejudiced.

Well-said.

Judaism is a religion but there overall there are distinct genetic markers in Ashkenazi and Sephardic Jews and it is very clear that a number of genetic diseases are much, much more prevalent in each of these communities and some are known exclusively among these groups. Lactose intolerance is a genetic trait. Anybody

Whenever I see these little charging station projects I always think they look cool, but I chicken out of doing it because I'm afraid the enclosed space with all the chargers will be a fire risk.

Good thing you didn't splurge on buying a plane as well... that hit would hurt more than your bo staff.

This is why I read Lifehacker, because things which perhaps I should know it turns out I don't. Thanks, this really irritated me until just now.

Wow. I thought I knew every windows shortcut, the alt printscreen is REALLY useful. Thanks!

This surprises me. I have the old Jawbone 2 and it is frankly rubbish, especially considering the £100.00 (GBP) price tag it had at the time.

Fantastic piece. Will never use it - if I'm playing Hangman I'm playing with a kid and I am not in it to thrash them(!), but fascinating nonetheless.

I agree. This is finding the answer by changing the question to a far less interesting question. The interesting things about language are things like tribal languages in Africa, India, Oceania (esp. Papua New Guinea). Ignoring them all and answering a completely meaningless arbitrary question seems like a total cheat.

This is really complicating something which is at heart very simple.

Won't try this when driving but sounds like an interesting idea for snowstorms... as long as the phone doesn't get soaked from all the snow I guess...

Simply brilliant. This kind of thing makes Lifehacker special.

The orphanage approach really works. I haven't had to get rid of any socks for many many years since I started doing this. The practicality was just to put a transparent large ziplock bag at the front of my sock drawer and store orphans in that. Whenever I missed a sock I've always found the other half a cycle or so

I used to do things like this, but actually since I got an Android phone a few years ago I've just popped anything I need into the usefully simple OI Shopping List app whenever I notice I am short of something.

An excellent example of what the Unclutterer blog calls a "unitasker". Waste of space.
