You sound like you know what is good, so Ill ask, what does Skullcandy rank on this list (probably negative) I think they sound pretty good for the price but I doubt I know what I'm talking about.

I have used my $15 Skullcandy for over two years and they still sound great, not sure how the sound quality compares but to me they sound excellent for what I use them for.

The iPhone has pretty good life, the biggest problem is that you cannot swap the battery to a full one when it runs out. My android has incredible battery life though, it being a low end model 3.5" and single core it goes a couple days easily.
