@Jaymii: I agree.. I tried, I really did, but I just got annoyed and bored. I loved BSG, and I love how this show *looks* but the story just didn't suck me in at all..

@nekoama: I'm right there with you.

Can't wait for this. One of the bonuses of attending an art school, is that some genius stocks The Walking Dead in the library. Great for that 10 minute read between classes..

@Darth Meow 504: He wears a cup/padlock combination at all times when I'm home.

@stereobot: Actually, the aliens who created the human race put it in there as a doomsday device - if we start turning it off in ourselves, we have proved too smart and reckless to live, and therefore we will psychically implode as a race the instant this is tried.

@Darth Meow 504: I have, but when I put them all on wooden plaques on the wall my (male) roomie complains. He says the 10 inchers loom at him in the dark...

You can just see the production meeting: "We need something really scary, something that hasn't been done before. Something we can put an ominous soundtrack over.."

@DIOX-HOL-STER: That only slows things down, although the chill is nice...

@Arafelis: Actually I prefer to keep them all in jars. The formaldehyde smells a bit but there's no substitution as far as preventing the decomposition. It's a shame really, the only other option is to leave them attached to those reprehensible things.. what do you call them.. oh yes! Men.

@blaaps: But I don't want a 10 inch penis.. At least not one attached to me.

@drukus: I don't really think of it as being science fiction. It feels more like a ghost story to me, albeit with that science fiction spoiler thing going on.. I found the book quite creepy, but I don't think it was intended to be about the science fiction aspects, it was more about the meaning of the soul/love, etc.

What's surprising is that Bikini Jones is actually not a horrific porn-actor..

@Erinaceus: I'll be 83 next time it shows up. I remember people making a big fuss in 86, but I was 9 and not fully aware of my potential for future geekery, so I don't think I actually saw it.. or if I did, it was so unimpressive that I don't remember.

I love the title image for this article.. where's it from?

I really want all of the first four. The superman logo ones are just eh.

@FakingThroughLife: Have you guys run across "Spooks" aka "MI-5" yet? it's bloody brilliant in terms of character development, and sheer edge of the seat holy crap what the hell? moments. Watch a few episodes of that, then watch a few episodes of Covert whatsit, the Piper Peribo show.. tell me which is the better spy

@Geoff: Also, if it was supposed to be a homage to suspense films, where was, you know.. the suspense?

@corpore-metal: I'm still holding out for futurama-style vacuum tubes..
