Not a perfect statement by any means. I just feel like the snippet in this article misrepresents what she said a bit. There’s another Jez article that contains the full statement and, to me at least, it read like she was trying to side with the victims even though this wasn’t her experience with the guy.

Absolutely agree. But if you read her full statement, it’s a bit more nuanced. She basically says she never saw that side of him, but that doesn’t disqualify anyone who says differently.
