It is SUCH a missed opportunity that they didn’t have a few researchers devoted to shit like this over the course of the show.

I’ve been disappointed for a while but I still watch. It’ll never be what it could’ve been but it’s still entertaining.

Yeah this has been the problem with the show since the Governor arrived. Nonsensical human behavior, and the show is soooo much weaker for it. But it seems clear that the writers have made a conscious decision to be more cartoonish than real.

They could engineer a believable scenario where she had to kill kids but instead they rely AGAIN on this idea that every group of people besides the main group has this unshakable groupthink.  Like every episode some group breaks off from one of the main communities to defy the leaders wishes or there’s some sort of

Agree.  As an explanation for the branding it’s pretty weak.  I was imagining it must be something along the lines of Terminus or perhaps some sort of ultra-punitive group, but instead it’s total nonsense.  Like fine she’s crazy, fine she trains kids to kill. Why do they bother tying people up to brand them literally

I mean seriously, if her post-apocalyptic belief system is akin to Negan and the Whisperers in that she believes all cooperative societies are doomed to failure, she could just ride the easy wave until the shit hits the fan and then peace out with the supplies instead of standing and fighting. Argh.

Word.  Watching a reasonable parlay between two rational groups on this show actually lifted my heart.

I think it makes sense because it’s a structure with a built in axle and wheels. They’ve probably removed the engine and thus much of the weight.

I didn’t check the numbers but the US has the highest incarceration rate in the world and it’s something like 1 in 100, and most of those people are not psychopaths, which means that if there are statistically MORE than 1 in 100 psychopaths in the unincarcerated population (to account for your numbers), then they are

I’m pulling for ET with the storyline being that witnessing life for kids before the apocalypse sends all the children spiraling into depression.

Yeah it was my favorite part of the series for a long time for this reason.  Finally normal human behavior.

Literally the only thing in common they have is being black women.  This is like if someone confused Watters with Ronan Farrow or something.

I’m waiting for the Tyrion/Sansa reunion and even more so the Arya/Hound reunion and the Sansa/Hound reunion.

Is it just me or is there a whole lot of pr in this comment section?  Please tell me the general public is this monolithic when it comes to this topic.

Declaring a national emergency is not using a veto.  He’s misusing a tool for freeing up funding quickly.

The Whisperers don’t make sense, the Saviors didn’t make sense, the Governor didn’t make sense, even the hospital didn’t make sense. I’m with you - all the nonsense re: human nature and basic precepts of the show is always a tough pill for me to swallow. I’ll never love this show as much as I used to right up until

This woman must not have internet or something omg. She fully thought he would get in his car and leave when she called the cops. and someone tell me since when is “verbal assault” a thing? It’s called yelling and it’s not assault.

You know an article exploring that is something I would read.

Doing a performance all over the place and asking someone to do it on command are two different things. It’s like asking someone if they are pregnant. And asking someone to perform an ethnic dance like it’s a party trick is annoying in private and even worse on camera, plus she referred to it as a “haka move” which

Even the after party is work. Their publicist decides which one they go to, they network while they’re there and they all try to get on social media acting crazy with other celebs. If they’re not working, there’s no hired photographers.
