Well, the Switch has existed for just over a year and a half, now. When New Leaf came out in the US, the 3DS had existed for just over two years, so I’d think the wait for a Switch Animal Crossing would be at least that long.

I’m not sure how I didn’t know it was exclusive, but I did snag it during a flash sale for 7.99 a few months ago, and I can say it’s definitely worth a play if you haven’t yet and like Lego humor and Harry Potter.
maybe we can get him to clean up the intro to the PS1 Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone game so that people actually have faces
It was dismissing Palicos, I think when there’s too many? There’s a cutscene with sad music and the palico asks before leaving if you’re sure. If you say yes, it cries and rides off on a horse while the wind blows. If you say yes, flowers bloom and it cries happy tears and hugs the screen.
This feels like a stupid question, but is it avoidable to have to send palicos home? When someone at Best Buy kept insisting I never send my palico home (when World was about to come out so he didn’t know you can’t in that), so I watched Youtube videos to see what it meant and it broke my heart and I’ve been afraid to…
Having read the patch notes, I’m reminded of when the expansions in Destiny 1 first started taking effect. In that game, I could see the House of Wolves enemies, and certainly die to them, but until I got that expansion, I couldn’t defend myself.
good thing this isn’t coming to Switch...just think of the HD Rumble
I made it a pretty substantial way through that considering I had no idea what anyone was talking about. I never saw the first Mamma Mia and my reaction to this one was “...I could have sworn this movie already happened.”
I haven’t played it in a few weeks but the last thing I did was finally open an account with her. I suppose I should be glad to have found out this way because if I found out naturally I would have cracked my Switch over my knee.
I only found out he wasn’t in Smash because of the various memes about it in the fire emblem subreddit
It looks and sounds gorgeous, but if it does the Crypt of the NecroDancer thing where you take negatives if you miss the beat, I don’t know how I feel about it. It looks way more in-depth and chaotic than CotND does, so that could get to be a strain if it handles the rhythm in a similar way.
I played it for about half an hour a few years ago and still didn’t know they’re all dead, but didn’t wanna get all “blerg spoilers” since it’s 5+ years old
I find myself genuinely curious as to who thought this article was a good idea. With a title like that, it could only ever cause divisive yelling in the comment section, and that’s ignoring any of the actual reasons 3DS games are still happening (which is also addressed, and typically shot down, in the comment…
Personally, my answer to “what makes a game perfect for Switch” has been “is it a metroidvania? Then yes.” My logic is that there are a lot of games in that genre that I typically don’t get to play, usually because they’re only on PC. Lately, the 3DS started to stop getting as many of them, and many of the ones the…
I wonder how strong Broly is supposed to be for SSGSS to not be enough?
I found out about this game shortly after getting my Switch, which was my first big brush with the price differences between Physical Switch games, digital Switch games, and then that game for everything else (39.99 PS, 19.99 DS, 29.99 EE). It’s on my Switch wishlist, hoping against hope that there’s a sale before I…
I can’t help but feel like “leak” and “broke into the code to see what’s up” aren’t really the same thing
I dunno, the keys kind of look like there was a wood texture added to them (like the vinyl people can add to tables to pretend they have a fancy wood table that’s actually plastic)
This. I read the patch notes and my reaction was “This is going to be hell trying to learn all of this during a match.”
My sister and I used to compete for the best scores in this game when we were kids. To be honest, I’m not even sure how we found out it existed. I just remember having it one day and loving it. This article made me want to play it again, although without an N64 or a Wii U (and a laptop that won’t do emulation…
