As much as I love people having whatever sex they want, the complete misunderstanding of science and how evolution works is making me cringe. Also, what makes the author think there are more gay people now, rather than simply more OUT gay people?

@SquidIceCream: Well, part of the advantage on non-professionally based fraternities and sororities are that you meet a more diverse range of people who aren't in your classes, but who still share some core values. If everyone is in the same field, it seems like it would get awfully boring.
