This also explains couple talk— when couples develop their own language and jokes that drive everyone around them to distraction. I am so, so guilty of couple-talk that it isn't even funny. @poppy: I don't? At all? I eat whatever I want, as much as I want, and I work out only a small amount. I'm not "technically" overweight, but I've managed to maintain the same just-not-quite-overweight weight for years. If I wanted to be thin, I'd have to restrict my eating, but eh, I'd rather just be happy.
