P.S.
P.S.
I’m sure if anyone could have a wedding w/o a groom, it’s Mariah Carrey.
Exactly. Mariah is shady as shit and I love every minute of it.
I imagine that for E! the draw was the possibility of catching something like the time he got into a fistfight on the streets of Sydney with another billionaire over Miranda Kerr.
Seriously, the people who love Mariah are showing up for every second of that regardless.
Actually, he’s not a good person. Like, at all.
What are we talking about? Human years? Soul years? Creative years? Years of what?
In time that humans have set, which isn’t real
So, just so we are clear here is a quick summary of Tammy Duckworth’s life:
One thing I can control is the amount of donuts I will eat in response to this sad as hell post.
Totally! Listen “once you give birth to them, you can do whatever you’d like to them. You can nuzzle their necks, smell their heads, squeeze their butts, whatever you want” LOL!
It took a while, tbh, but now that my kid is 9 she remembers to greet politely about 90% of the time. And even when she forgets, I prompt her with “Please come say hello to Auntie!” and she will do it.
My adult rewatch caused me to empathise with Emily so so much. Yes her parenting style was stuffy but she tried to do her best for her daughter, they helped her finish school when she had a baby at 16 and then she just left; only saw them on holidays and basically blamed them for everything wrong in her life. Lorelai…
exactly--people are talking about how we need to teach high school and college students about consent and bodily autonomy, but if you ask me those lessons need to happen far earlier than high school or college. we should be teaching little kids about consent from day 1.
We always ask, and my oldest(still baby) kid doesn’t like kisses and sometimes he doesn’t want hugs. It sucks, but it is what it is. Fortunately his little brother is still at the stage where he’s super excited when I get home and I get full body hugs.
It is not going overboard for a parent to ask their own child for a hug or kiss, nor to stop tickling or cuddling when asked. It is acknowledgment of their bodily autonomy, and backing up word with deed. It’s hypocritical to say, “you get to be in charge of who touches your body, except when I’m the person taking that…
agreed on all points. Also, I think the Emily-oriented parts of the trailer were well-done and I look forward to her arc; seems like they’re handling Richard’s passing well.
awww, I think it looks cute, and I’m most looking forward to widowed Emily figuring out her life. Will it win 3000 Emmys? No. Will it be a welcome palate cleanser after the complete shit show that has been this election over Thanksgiving weekend that I will watch the fuck out of? Yep.
