This is how it used to be in the states. I must have been sleeping I just didn't realize the transition for mainstream athletisure being what everyone wears casually is the main thing now. Which is fine! I am pro comfort.

Don't let other people make you feel uncomfortable being comfortable! I support your right to wear athletisure it is for all of us!

I didn’t say this in my original comment. But elsewhere, I have clarified, I do not like the fact that fashion has managed to take something that is basic, practical and turned it into a statement piece instead.

I’m fine with it once it becomes business acceptable. Hooker heels are now, so maybe someday yoga pants will be ok!

Many of the moms in my neighborhood and daycare seem to only wear yoga/athleisure type clothing. For me, it projects - as you say - they are fit and healthy and exercising.
