I’m pretty sure they just don’t want to admit they’re late to the wireless charging thing (which is what Jobs would have done) and that’s why they’re working on contact-less charging.

It took Apple this long to figure out these were a problem. I have had several of the North American version of the Apple power bricks. Almost all of the inserts start arching and get smoked up after 1-2 years. I thought it was part of Apples planned obsolescence.

This isn’t needed. Every site can crash Safari on a first gen iPad air. Does it 4-5 times per day.

There isn’t an Apple counterpart to the Surfacebook, but the closest is the 15" MacBook Pro, when bumped up to similar specs is... $3,199.00. So that’s the same price, for something larger, heavier, and with less functionality.

Actually, it is exactly the same as Apple is charging to go from 500 GB to 1 TB on the Macbook pro.

Oh, please show me the Apple Macbook that undocks from its keyboard and has a touchscreen. Because a true Apple counterpart to the Surface products is long overdue.

Not as bad as apple. SSD pricing on 1TB to 500MB has a lot wider margin than than on smaller capacity SSDs which is what generally Apple uses.

It’s a 1 TB SSD. Considering the dimensions of the device, the price jump is reasonable.

It’s fucked up no matter what way you look at it. Apple could not simply say “look they basically are copy what we are doing down to effing icon design” they had to find some bullshit patent to try and get them. Even when they got them it was almost no value, the person who did the crime won and tremendously.
