Yes! Thank you! I think we're starting to see more positive reviews by people who have actually seen the movie here!

Honestly, I was in the same boat too after reading this review. I ended up seeing this (DBZ sold out) and I was actually genuinely impressed. Big turtle fan and I felt they got the characters right (it was fun and light-hearted and not dark and gritty!!) and the action (mainly the actual fighting as opposed to the…
No, the Shredder is actually pretty badass. Think huge ninja, with insanely awesome armor. Also, he was actually Eric Sachs master.
Wow, that is such a neat observation about their personalities/size.
Yay! There's someone who shares my thoughts!
Just go. I had really low expectations and didn't even mean to see it (DBZ was sold out). But I really enjoyed it. I felt they got the characters right (especially Michelangelo, lol). It wasn't particularly deep and not at all serious (which is why the 'dark and gritty' criticism is nonsense and mostly said by people…
Exactly. It's almost bordering on pathetic. I mean, Dark Knight and Rises made a ton of money AND were critically acclaimed (by critics and audiences alike, RT 94% & 88%). This whole "oh, but they were really bad" nonsense is just that, complete and utter nonsense.
So what you're saying is... it's basically the same as all the old movies. Got it.
Just so we are all aware, the old TMNT movies weren't all that great either.
Exactly! When I heard this news, I was pretty happy: 1) I'd get to see this movie early, 2) I'd get to see both this and Cap3 as I don't usually watch the later summer movies because of funds and movie fatigue.
But then I get on the internet and it's all "MARVEL MADE DC BLINK! THE HORROR!"
I mean, can't we all just…
It's just so disconcerting to see this childish notion of Marvel vs DC, and how to gets everybody to pointlessly argue about it. People just don't realize it's not about that. It's about maximizing profits. This move is beneficial to both sides.
And here's what I don't get. Don't people realize that by having them on both dates is bad for both Marvel and DC? "So why did DC put their movie there in the first place?" I dunno, seemed like a bad move for EVERYBODY at the time... which means this move is actually a good thing. Why can't people just appreciate…
THANK YOU!
But did Marvel really win? It looks like BvS is just gonna do what Cap2 did and start the blockbuster movie season early to get a jump on the rest of the competition. It seemed to work for Marvel. So who really knows.
So was anything else bothered by the ***************SPOILER******************* Nick Fury fakeout? Or was it just me?
