Exactly. If this isn’t PII, it’s FAR LESS than what this very site is collecting from me at this very moment through Google Analytics tracking calls.

He wasn’t “making a left turn.” It’s clear that A) he is mid-burnout when he realizes he almost killed someone and he mashes the brake, that shit was gonna be pointed the other way in another 2 seconds and B) he wouldn’t film a “left turn” because that would be the dumbest video ever.
Agree, the base model is pretty bland really. But the QF doesn’t lease well so there hasn’t been much uptake in the US, and frankly the horror stories don’t help.
It’s VERY basic supply chain management. if you expect to manufacturer X widgets, you need to ensure you have a way to deliver X widgets to wherever it needs to go. When you deal with large volumes of anything (UPS trucks, AWS servers, whatever) there are limits to supplies and the companies who own them need to plan…
Yes obviously there are some bad choices here but the reality is when you go to a public school in America, you’ll learn all about the pythagorean theorem, y = mx+b and all sorts of shit that you will almost certainly never need in your adult life.
The early 90s weren’t a bad era for MB cars, either quality or luxury-wise. The early 2000s were pretty rough but those 90s cars were incredible - the R129, W140 (both coupe and sedan), W124 - those are all highly regarded models.
Oh and yes - not all of these things are embedded in the actual glass (although antenna are along with heating) but they obviously are more labor intensive, hence a higher replacement cost.
Those little shark fins on the back of your car are only for satellite. I can’t think of any near-luxury car these days that still has a metal antenna and the way they get rid of it is putting it in the glass. Sometimes front glass, sometimes back.
Windshields nowadays have antennae, precipitation sensors and other things built into them. They’re all pricy these days on any kind of even near-luxury car.
Well that’s the whole point. It’s been discussed in many places that the Giulia in general is a decent enough car that is pretty reliable. However, the Quad versions have had massive numbers of issues. They’ve sold at very low quantities and have had a shocking number of them with service issues whereas the non-quads…
Have you seen a Maserati from the last 10 years? No Italian-American FCA product has yet learned how to break free from the days of “fix it again tony.”
You should listen to the interview. He flat out states that he’s not funny and doesn’t know why he has a job on SNL himself.
Nah kids parties need to be at a facility you rent, no matter the time of year. Doing it at home or the park is just so incredibly not worth the amount of soul draining it hoists upon you. Better to pay someone else to take on all the mind numbing jobs while you make idle chit chat with the fellow parents.
Ask a Tesla owner what it’s like trying to take delivery of a car, get it repaired and/or get it serviced and you’ll see why.
Exactly. There’s a reason (well many actually) why the 68-72 sell for so much more. And one of the giant ones is they aren’t ass-ugly like the rubber baby buggy bumper versions.
I think the C7 is a very different beast than its predecessors (specifically the C3-C6) in that the performance is incredible, the interior, while not my cup of tea, is at least befitting of a 75k car and seems to be generally well built (except for overheating issues on certain models).
A mark is someone you target as the loser in a scheme. I.e. someone who is too dumb to know they are being taken advantage of.
I’ve done the Mid Vs Rear thing at PECLA 2x now and I just don’t like the Cayman/Boxster nearly as much as the 991. I’m biased I guess since I DD a 991 and maybe it’s because they intentionally use worse components like tires, pads, etc but the 718 gets squirelly and loose WAY before the 991. I just find that I have…
In economy, sure. But in business or first? I fly to Europe from the west coast decently regularly on 12+ hour flights and it’s not that bad at all (aside from jetlag when you land). But if I had to fly coach, I’d fucking murder someone - 5 hours is about my limit on that shit.
That’s exactly what he said in 1996.
