As I said, they are clearly not liable. Could they have named it something that would likely be less-confusing to the population of idiots that roam our streets? Certainly.

You’re basically making my point. People ARE dumb as rocks, that’s why marketing is so incredibly effective. Yes, they should educate themselves, but no they don’t.

If you asked the general public 100 times what autopilot is, I would wager that well over 80% of them would misidentify how it actually works. Is Tesla liable, no, but they certainly chose marketing over common sense.

It’s hard to describe how bad it is. And honestly I think it’s that bad because it’s probably pretty fucking difficult to pave a road with a 33 degree incline!

Couldn’t agree more. Owned a few AMGs (still own one actually) with their AMG-speedshift double clutch transmissions and DD a 991.1 with PDK and I will never stop loving that PDK. It’s so much smarter than anything else on offer - if I just start to drive aggressively, it holds my gears perfectly on deceleration and

You take your black lab everywhere you go? You might as well be in a Subaru ad. Just buy the Forester and move on with life.

Yes please. I’ll take a Lamborghini V12.

Lol oh goddamit. I typed rear engined car (or so I thought). Thank god I didn’t have a motorcycle-engined car though.

You absolutely should. The lost lives will never be returned but Goodyear should be made to pay for each incident and the more voices that combine, the louder it gets.

I would disagree in the sense that a big chunk of those 98 people wouldn’t be dead if there wasn’t a clear an malicious plan to cover up the wrongdoing for the last two decades. If you look at it that way, the coverup is basically responsible for every death post them learning that the tire was killing people.

Um, I think you are missing a key piece of evidence. Tell me this man isn’t a bankable star:

My daughter’s best friend lives on this street so I have to drop her off all the time, right near the top of it. Getting in and out of their driveway is a nightmare I face weekly it seems.

It’s Porsche-a!

I can tell you that there is no sanctioning body I’ve raced with or worked with that would’ve allowed a race to happen in that condition. Hitting an obstacle in a sand trap is exactly what paralyzed Wayne Rainey at Misano in 1993. There are very specific guidelines about how deep, what kind of runoff for what kind

Thank you for that reply, that was actually incredibly educational. I love learning about these cultural nuances, traditions, etc. That really helped clear up the spirit and the reason these things exist, when/why they can be broken, etc.

I’ve done Laguna Seca on a bike (Ducati 749 FWIW) and during the AMG day there in a variety of cars.

I have 2 boosters back there right now in fact, my kids ride in the car at least a couple times a week.

I remember reading something about a “sabbath mode,” I guess that’s what it is. Would’ve been a lot cooler if I could’ve programmed it to play “War Pigs” every time I grabbed some bacon out of it.

You only turn 50 once, so I highly recommend getting exactly what you want.

We had them for a while. I owned a 2010 Audi A4 Avant. I don’t think they sold very well, so they decided to not keep both those and the all road version when they brought that back.
