I recently sold mine, exact same year, slightly better condition for 7k. This is a great deal for a great car.

No, it’s still the most reliable supercar, it’s just gilded.

It’s funny because I know the names of most of my immediate neighbors but we spend zero time with them. Even though two of them have kids the same age as ours. Part of it is because we live in a city where everybody’s kids go to some different private school, so the kids haven’t formed any bonds by taking classes

So something i learned (but should’ve guessed) is that if you live on the side of a hill, the sewer pipe goes through your property, through the easement on your downhill neighbors property and then to the sewer on their street. For a house like mine, that means 300 linear feet of fucking sewer pipe. And when

Not anymore. Since iOS9 it works wirelessly if implemented as such.

But whatever happened to his paper, business papers?

Don’t these all have the Lucas electrics as well? IIRC there are entire firms dedicated to redoing the electrics on these cars because the degenerate so quickly and horribly (which autocorrected to hourly when I first wrote it and I think I probably should’ve left it).

138?

He’s a mormon lawyer according to his screen name. I think that explains some of this thinking.

That’s a good point actually. Almost zero of my driving is on the highway. I just drive it to commute to work but my commute takes me through 2 canyons each way so that definitely plays into it.

What? Lol, nobody has immunity for killing civilians. That literally does not exist. Even in wartime, you must still adhere to the Geneva conventions. Let alone some bounty hunter in Dallas.

I drive a CLA45 with the high-strung 2.0 liter, 375 hp engine. I get 12 mpg. I’ve gotta be getting the worst MPG out of a 4 cylinder of anyone on earth.

I can’t really speak to much of your comment but Brentwood would never be considered a “black part of LA.”

It’s gonna be much more than slightly used at that price. The only 911s I’ve seen in that ballpark are 997.1 models and 996.2 models. You’re still gonna pay into the 50s for a 997.2 and the 60s for a 991.1.

I mean I drive a CLA45 AMG that needed new front tires after 11k miles. And I might be the only person managing to get 12 MPG out of a (admittedly high strung and highly boosted) 4 cylinder.

I have never heard of Family Videos. Is it a nationwide chain? Hell, I don’t think there’s a video store within a hundred miles of my place.

Gently used coming off a lease? Don’t buy mine if that’s what you’re expecting.

I mean this is hardly scientific but I’ve owned a few AMGs, including the CLA45 which is about the most high-strung, highest boost engine you can buy and I haven’t had any issues.

I’ll take a slightly different angle on this - yes it’d be great if everyone could do everything, but they can’t. And the job an engineer does is VERY different from what a mechanic does. I can guarantee you there are even fewer mechanics who know much about engineering.

Yes, they are much stickier than “normal” road tires. It’s hard to explain if you haven’t driven on (or ridden a motorcycle on) warmed slick tires the difference in grip between those two things. This isn’t scientific but my best analogy would be the difference you see between normal road tires and those super
