I can’t, it always starts in comfort, but all you have to do is rotate the wheel and you’re set. It’s just part of getting the car started for me now. It takes an extra second I guess? IMO that is time well spent.

Pfft I get about 12mpg from my CLA45. It may be the worst MPG ever achieved with a 4 cyl but it’s so much fun to drive, who cares? I wouldn’t have bought an AMG if gas money was that big a concern anyhow.
I was super lucky. They don’t seem to sell particularly well so you can get a good deal on them. But the one I got has the AMG seating option which gives you the Recaros out of the SLS, etc and the french-seamed leather dash and door panels (without it the dash and doors look kinda blah).
I DD a CLA45 and I thrash it pretty much every day in the canyons on the way to the lot. I’m only about 2 years and 15k into it so far, but it hasn’t skipped a beat with almost zero maintenance required (one yearly trip to the dealer is all I take).

They’re slow cars but by god they are the most beautiful car ever created by MB IMO. I only had the opportunity to drive one once and while it was slow, it was one of the most enjoyable drives of my life. It felt like pure motoring.
