They do drive nicely when new. They get loose and loud when they get older, mostly due to inferior interior fit and finish, nothing to do with the actual power train. Until Caddy steps up on their interiors (and abandons that horrible CUE system), there's gonna be a lot of people like him and me. Frankly, I'd love if

Let's talk about racing that is actually exciting, the return of MotoGP for 2015 and the GOAT winning again yesterday at 36 fucking years old. WLF!

Wow, that is real fucked up. I have a tendency to say dumb shit myself, but even I have enough smarts to respect the dead. That's just a tragedy and nobody needs to spend their breath making fun of anyone associated with it.

Has nothing to do with the US, call any of those companies in any country, same thing. They are not manufacturers, they are tuners. Brabus is in fact a dealer for MB. And they don't claim to be making a new car. They up front sell you an MB and then you can either modify it to you can just take it home as-is, a

Tell you what. Give Brabus USA a call and ask them how a 850 is titled. Spoiler alert: I already did and it's a mercedes S63, not a Brabus. And if you check their site you'll see how it is advertised as well, that's not an accident.

I'm sorry but you are mistaken. If you contact Brabus, they will offer you tuning for MB or tuning for Smart cars. Even if you buy a "Brabus" vehicle, they are required to still call it a Brabus 650 - MB E63. If you don't believe me, feel free to call them or even just peruse their website.

Because they don't sell the car as a Brabus. It is a Mercedes, modified by Brabus, that is the difference.

Love the Cowboy. Those Schwartz/Rainey battles were so epic and incredible. Back when men were men and rode the 500s without traction control. Only battles I've loved anywhere near as much in the last 20 years were Rossi/Biaggi and Rossi/Gibernau.

They get a bit of a bad rap from a lot of people. The AMGs are no more expensive to own than the equivalent MB version of that same car as the problems are almost never engine or transmission related. Having owned AMGs and M-cars, they are both great but if I had to own one out of warranty, it would be an AMG all

Lol. They have fallen since then. Many of them list around 80k but in reality the sales of them (unless they have 0 miles and are investment grade) seem to be selling in the high 50s.

Also, I think this thing is gonna come off reserve in the 40s. Ones with low miles are selling in the 50s so I doubt this one will attract any more than 45 or so.

Oh definitely. The first award comes at 155k (miles) and there are tons that have that many. You don't normally see the owners actually apply for the awards since they maybe aren't as "cool" for an AMG crowd, but there are plenty out there for sure.

God, I can't tell you how many times I have come close to clicking buy-it-now on a CLK63 Black on eBay over the past year. It seems to have hit its bottom and has been staying there for a while. This is only making me revisit my favorite saved search yet again.

Oh wow. Some developer is going to get his ass chewed out over that one. I guess we know that Team Detroit (a division of WPP) is Lincoln's agency of record now though. No way that should be available without some sort of password protection.

I prefer to look at this as good news. Clarkson will inevitably go to Netflix (or lord willing FX, my employer) and he will have free reign to do whatever he wants to do without the nanny state looking over his shoulder.

You can buy those quite easily. Not those EXACT ones, but those are the Penta style that was manufactured by AMG and others for most of the 80s. The real AMG ones go for about 1k a set these days in good condition.

I have no interest in seeing this movie, but I am glad that now the lyrics to the Beastie Boys' "High Plains Drifter" make more sense to me now.

No, they're terrible to drive in any fashion. However, according to another poster here, that can largely be traced to the run flats that came with the car. I have to admit I never drove it without those on the car so I can't evaluate it in that regard, but with the run flats, it's an uncomfortable drive and ride,

She was my ex-gf (only been married once, still am). Not sure which tires she had on it, I would imagine they were whatever came with the car. She leased it so I doubt she had it long enough to change the tires. If they were run-flats, that certainly would make sense. It was overly harsh, and that was back in the

Ahh, ok. I thought you were asking the question of whether it was, rather than pointing out that it was for the other readers' interest. Got it now.
