Hopefully the two parties can reach an agreement. An Armas-tice, if you will.

i don’t think netflix’s problem has ever been the content. they’ve always had a ton of good stuff for everyone. the ability to locate it has always been a bigger problem and they seem to have no system in place for highlighting older stuff that might make sense.

They are publicly traded. It was probably required.

I’m wondering why would they even release that information.

Cost to rent a movie without Ana de Armas in it: $3.99

I definitely agree that Ennis would hate to do an Action Comics run…but I think he could write a fucking amazing Black Label limited series starring Supes.

Although this is a fictional character in a fictional universe, it would seem weird that they’d cast a non-Asian actor for a character who is not only Asian-looking but has been officially described as such and has consistently maintained said look throughout the comics.

That makes three really excellent roles she could play. Four if you include Ventress. D.A. ... Hera ... Barriss... any would be awesome.  Hera Syndulla would be kind of a mom-ish role (though b.a. pilot) at this point in the story Hera & Kaanan's kid would be a teenager(?) so who knows. Mary has been on a lone-wolf

I hadnt thought of that . Change him so he welds taxidermied dogs to people rather than live ones, not sure ifvthats better or worse.

Doctor Aphra. It’s gotta be Doctor Aphra.

I think both Gunn and Ennis have shown they can be great even when restrictions on the violence, crudeness, etc. are placed on them. (Ennis doing mainstream comics, Gunn doing PG-13 Marvel stuff.) I do think Ennis, completely unshackled, can go a bit overboard at times, but Gunn has always been a big softy at heart,

Speaking of Garth Ennis , I could see DogWelder or Sixpack fit in on the show .

i dunno, during his deadpool run i would have thought joe kelly was a bad choice for superman but he wrote by favorite superman story of all time. and now he co-created ted lasso which is even weirder!

I also just disagree with the idea that Ennis is cynical. Hellblazer, Preacher, and The Boys are all ultimately love stories, while his war comics and Rover Red Charlie are earnest as hell.

Man, have you never read Ennis’s Superman stories?

I have a feeling that, whatever’s going on with the Butterflies here, it’s not as simple as an “Invasion of the Body Snatchers” type plot. Between Judomaster leaving Economos alive despite having every single opportunity to kill him and Murn leading the efforts to seemingly hunt down his own kind so sincerely (and

buddy, that exchange where she explained that money can be exchanged for goods and services really had me laughing.

I would love if the show just committed to the semi-comedic theme that “Boba Fett is a great fighter, but an incredibly incompetent manager and maybe not super bright. Like Michael Scott with a jetpack

A sidenote related to my ponderings about how dumb the show is.
