If anyone can strong arm the cable industry into a new business model it's Apple. We just need one company to open the flood gates! DO IT!

+1 on the AMEX!

I came by to say the same thing. It's a bummer that you have to pay extra but every now and then it's worth it on a busy night when you don't want to wait in line for tickets.

Win + P brought up a settings screen for multiple monitors. I noticed it wasn't on their list. I'll have to dig up a second monitor to give it a try tonight.

If Microsoft really wants to keep the bloatware down they should allow you to activate Windows 8 with the OEM license that's given to you when you buy a computer from HP, Dell, etc. This way if you want to have a clean install you can do it yourself and if you don't mind the preinstalled software, you can leave it as

All this has happened before, and all this will happen again.

Thank you for the reponse! I guess Voice Actions still has plenty of room for improvement. \=

Awesome! I'm taking the dive and if something doesn't work I'll just have to tinker with it.

Dark Side of the Moon is available on Google's Music store for $2.99 also. Can't go wrong with that.

How's this with games? My PC is usually just used for gaming. Will I still be able to fire up SW:TOR or some Skyrim?

I haven't used Hulu since they started blocking devices. I think it's time to root my GoogleTV and re-visit Hulu.

OH MAN CHRONO TRIGGER!

When they did this with Windows 7 they allowed you to use the beta for up to about a year after. That ended up being about 5-6 months of use after it was officially released.

I usually use my hands or feet to estimate lengths.

For those 1/18 and 3/28 you can just round off if you're just estimating but yes you're right, we need to move to the metric system already.

I feel like I'm alone here but I'm still a big fan of Netflix. Infact the only reason I still have cable is because I can't find any place to stream HGTV/DIY Network type stuff.

Ok I have a bone to pick with Google Voice Actions...

Yes, static electricity. It's pretty annoying but it does look awesome at night when I rub my hand across my blanket and see several sparks in a row. It's like a fireworks show!

Am I the only person who would just like to buy a 55" TV without any extras? No tuner, no apps, no nothing.

I'm not sure if you're being serious but I'm biting anyway.
