I have to agree with this take. Look it’s a horrible situation to be in, but I have to ask:

“If I can’t trust you to catch a Saturday call outside of business hours, how can I trust you to actually be negotiating on my wife’s behalf to come home?”

Reading Jezebel you would think this is the only conflict of any consequence the US has with Russia at the moment.
