1st Gear: Apple And Kia?

The closest thing to a V series SUV was the 1st gen SRX with the Northstar.

this was the one I should have suggested.

The car is just a play to enthusiasts

I’ll take all the V8 manual sedans I can read about for as long as they are built. Cars like this are not a need, they are a want. If we only had what we needed, life would be freaking dull.

That’ll probably happen too. But taking it out of other budgets helps taxpayers so they don’t have more taxes to pay.

Mine was built in 1921/22 and was converted from fuel oil to NG. A whole lot of the NE is older homes. Especially cities and inner ring suburbs. tax credits for new windows/doors/extra insulation/new roofs/pipe wrap can all help home efficiency and use less energy to light/hear/cook with.

That’s Paul McQueen.

Holy shit, how did I get that wrong? Anyway, still worth watching.

If you’re looking for a watchable Steve McQueen movie, try Cool Hand Luke. Wait until at least the car wash scene before condemning it.

Man, all of this will require an enormous amount of money. Trillions of investment for all aspects. generation, infrastructure, training, acquiring supplies, training, new jobs, etc

Fixed your mask Lady Mayor:

I made a dump run many years ago to get rid of a couch. It was 1.5 hours from home and that was the only time I’ve done that. Not convenient at all.

I can listen to Sly and the Family Stone for days on end.

My employer took away our water coolers and is only providing bottled water. Granted I’m working at home 80% of the time now but that one day a week I’m drinking bottled water.

I know of zero people that incinerate their trash. Even friends in rural areas have a weekly trash pick up.

I’m hoping cases can be made for V8's to continue to be made for a very long time. Add cylinder deactivation, hybrid, batteries, etc...just keep making them.
