Put in an inline 6/hybrid powertrain to improve fuel economy and Bob’s your uncle. Leave it BOF and continue to charge a goodly amount for it. I’d rather it exist here than not.
Pence dreams so...
Can confirm. I used to get free pine 2x4's from work for use in a friend’s cabin stove. Didn’t know the risk at the time and friend was happy for the free fuel source. We stopped that after a nice chimney fire and he started paying for cords of hardwood.
But I’ll keep my gas-powered sports car for a while, thanks.
I’d rather struggle to buy the honda civic than suffer a Mitsu Penalty Box Mirage.
This goes back to their 0/0/0 sales pitches of 20 years ago. They basically are a Buy Here Pay Here new car manufacturer.
Pilgrim Nuclear power station and Vermont Yankee were both taken offline within the last 10 years. Both would have been up to the job if they could have been given the necessary upgrades to extend their life. Unfortunately not that likely to happen. I’m all for nuclear leading the way for a carbon neutral future.

Cars like the polestar 1 and Porsche Taycan are newer and better choices than Tesla’s upper end models. Worlds better build quality. The water is muddied at the lower end where the 3 and Y compete mostly with snooze fest electric potatoes. The 3 and Y are more appealing (to me) than a Bolt, Ioniq or Leaf. The odd…
There will always be cars we cannot afford. I don’t care if some people can. Neither should others.

We stayed home for the most part, got takeaway twice, exchanged gifts with my parents and brother outside on the patio, drove around for a couple of hours looking at lights and went to the park for a nice hike this weekend. It was different than other years but not unpleasant at all.

That doesn't sound like the worst way to retire.
There’s nothing genuine in this clown’s move. he cares not one iota about whether people get $600, $2000 or $2. It’s a fucking stunt like everything it does. Fuck him.
I’m starting some home improvement projects.
Good point. The butter adds all the fat needed. Richard’s suggestion of prosciutto sounds interesting.
i have no doubt salty cured meats will certainly work. The fried prosciutto sounds like a good substitute. Thanks for the tip. I found some duck prosciutto online that might be worth trying. Expensive though.
Or perhaps The Gilded Torch?
