No you can get Ramen cheap. Chicken nuggets are not cheap. Chicken thighs are cheap. Chicken breast is expensive. Ground beef is relatively cheap, but can be stretched crazy far.

I did say unless you ONLY eat ramen. but on any normal/varied diet it is not.

Oh agreed, i didnt know about the 2 others because i do repairs myself and didnt ever even think of it. It should really be more widespread reminders (on sites like this!) to semi regular check recall status, but we are all to worried about so many other “important” things

most of your points are (likely) right on, but recalls? So call/take it to the dealer and have them check. it’s a recall and is free to repair. i took my car in for a recall part a few months back and they said i had missed 2 other recalls they also replaced.
