Yes they are migrated and on 2.5... AHHH THERE IS IT! Maybe important to add to article. You must make sure in 2.5 settings your Googel Voice number is verified AND (most important) there is a toggle Messages "show SMS and voicemail in Hangouts". either way thanks much for the help!

hmm.. it only lets me send something if it is being sent to someone who is on hangouts (not SMS). If i click one of my contacts i get the option to call no SMS though. ughh so close yet so far!
