i never had a thought of the side mount being an issue until i went to truly use it attached to my head (without helmet). the bounce was terrible. Granted i was running not skiing so there could be a difference there just something to keep in mind with side mount there is no bottom support.

I guess i would agree the lack of public transit info on iOS maps hurts. But only in that it doesn't help. The VAST majority of people don't use public transportation and while it would be nice if the maps helped i doesn't really affect usability for most people.
