I have to say i think in you case judging by you picture (i really like the way you have it set up there) that i think the headphone jack on the bottom would be great. It would take some work but it would be incredibly clean to have the charger and 3.5mm jack side by side in that slot. Like you said though its iPhone…

i agree i dislike headphone jack on the bottom. I dont see how this would affect your setup (pending the it would still be 30 pin). you just wouldnt have access to headphone jack while driving. Do you use it then?

how much extra strain does bluetooth really run? I leave mine on all day everyday and have little issue. Granted i charge for my hour ride home after workdays HOWEVER on the weekends i last from morning till late night without fail.
