We’ve done this a few times as well in the spring before it got nice out. Lay the 3rd row in the van down and take the kids somewhere for take out, put down a blanket and have a picnic. Now that its getting colder again we’ll probably start doing it again.

My wife bought a 2008 Fusion brand new with this thing, and at first I thought it was dumb as hell, now I wish all my cars since had it as an option. it was great for locking keys in when needed etc. Its surprising how handy you find it to be over time.

Exactly, this thing is built with utility in mind but then priced and marketed to folks that will never see/use it that way. This truck needs to be $35k and used by contractors all over the place.

This is the issue I have with a lot of hot sauces. I like the heat, but I’m not a big fan of vinegar, that tangy sour taste hot sauce adds to things is a put off. But some manage to do a good job of adding heat and flavor without overpowering the vinegar flavoring as well.

I understand they have authorized notaries, but they don’t have the ability to do plates and transfers, not in PA at least.

I get part of this, and understand your logic, which is all well and good and agree with how you handle the money part but in some states such as Pennsylvania, that won’t work. You have to actually transfer the title (with both buyer and seller present) at an authorized notary. Not just any notary can handle this…

I think these thinks look a lot cooler now than they did back then, but damn I wouldn’t want to own one. So many other great options out there. Regardless, I think it’s aged well, but the classic design helps i’m sure.

I’m surprised the Buick Encore is on that list, I see those things everywhere. Maybe that explains it, everyone that wanted one (and it was a lot of folks) has one.

When I have the space, I do this and then I beat them with a hammer and cut them open with a utility knife and dump them in my cooler when having a party, going to the beach, etc. I always keep a couple empty jugs handy to refill when I use one.

While I didn’t pay cash for the last car I bought, I did procure financing elsewhere before showing up at the dealer. So after my trade and what I wanted to put down, I had the rest in a check from a 3rd party, and boy the dealership was mad. They kept trying to talk me in to running finance numbers through them…

I knew this would be a hot topic, haha. Personally if I were to get a manual, I’d want the full experience as well, but I’m just saying I can see there being a market for it, and I bet several folks on here poopooing it would buy it in a second but are afraid to speakup for fear of losing their jalop card. I know there will be a lot of naysayers, but I feel like this might be a good compromise for someone that does a lot of stop and go commuting but still wants something that’s a bit more ”fun” and can’t afford to have a commuter car with an auto and a fun car with a traditional manual transmission.

Then you haven’t experienced one yet, they are awesome SUV’s, though getting a bit old now.

So how long before we start to see rear sliding doors on SUVs, or traditional rear doors on a minivan?
