But with other makes, they actually sell those base models as fleet vehicles/work trucks. You’re not going to get much of that with a 2 door Gladiator. And if you’re in need of something like that, you’re getting the 4 door anyway so you can haul the extra workers in 1 truck.

Agreed, the Gladiator is a very niche product to begin with. Jeep was just too blind to see that before they started pumping so many out at insane prices. That’s not to say they wouldn't get some sales of a 2 door variant, but if anyone thinks that it would sell like hot cakes, they are in for a bad time.

This is what happens when you have a niche vehicle and expect it to sell mainstream. They either need to build far fewer of these things or cut the price substantially. Most people are going to buy a “real” truck for that money.
