This is the answer. Get involved. I go to the HOA meetings because our old board was filled with a bunch of jerks. The old VP and I got into it because he would never return my messages and all I wanted to do was to figure out what dues I owed. I moved in the month after the notices went out for dues. It wasn’t until

I live in a HOA and know that every HOA is different. In my HOA liens can get placed for unpaid dues which basically means that the homeowner has to pay up before they sell. The mortgage company checks for liens on the property before closing. It’s amazing how many people go years without paying their dues.

Unfortunate but true.

Remember, Puerto Rico is part of America” We were looking for volunteers to go to Puerto Rico to work and there were a few that told me they couldn't go because they didn’t have passports. After explaining it to one individual he argued the point with me...

I don’t want to but I think we should stoop to their level. Sedans shall now be known as tri-pillars, hatchbacks will be referred to as posterior doored, and coupes shall be renamed two ingress/egress portaled. Ok, those may need some work but you get the idea.

Agreed. I went from a CUV to a van. Same size exterior but way different size inside. I can put full sheets of plywood inside with the rear door closed. Adults can actually use my third row in the van and we can still pack a full load of luggage behind it. Vans are made with the packaging of them in mind. They strive

This is the right way to do it. Instead the bracket is just tacked on like fake vents from Auto Zone.

My complaint is one of ugliness. I’m in a state that doesn’t require front plates but I live next to a state that does. Since cars are bought and sold over state lines many end up with front plate brackets or no bracket and just holes in the front. Not to mention the idiot dealers that install a bracket just because.

Hmmmm... Throw the ST power train in and you'd really have something. Those old Escorts only worked a hair over 2000 pounds.

No drama, no intrigue, no suspense. I just don't see a story there.

Look in any parking lot and you'll see a sea of appliances. They fit people's needs and most don't care about fun in cars. I work with people that can't even tell me what year vehicle they own or if what they drive is RWD, FWD, or AWD. Meanwhile, I can tell you what engine/transmission and year range of most vehicles

I agree. They are just like every other company in that they exist to make money. They do that well without enthusiast vehicles. I wonder how well other companies would fare if they followed the same path.

Good take on the current state of Nissan. Someone asked me my take on them and I said boring but reliable. They are literally the beigiest of beige cars. Even as other automakers put money into profitable platforms such as trucks, Nissan carries on with the old Frontier. Seems to me that Mazda is the modern day Datsun

Only CVT I’ve driven recently is a Nissan Rogue rental. It was horrendous. Then again, if it had more power it may not have been such a miserable experience.

I’m in the market for a new vehicle and I'm fairly picky. However, I'll give up most of the things on my list except for a manual. If I can't find a manual I like I'd go with a Volt. Electric for my commute and weekend errands but I can just put in gas when I need to go out of town. I just don't find automatics that

I feel like Netflix right now. Because of your interest in Parks an Rec and Brooklyn 99 you may also like the Good Place.

Well cared for old Forrester XT with 5 speed, YAY!! I was just searching the local CL and FB postings for something similar. This is as bad as the ridiculous Baja prices. It’s just a Subie.

Timely advice. I was just wondering the same. I have a charcoal grill with cast iron grates and it was suggested that I just throw it in the oven on self cleaning. Personally, I don’t self clean my oven or clean it at all unless I spill something.

So let me get this straight. I could get a lot mileage GTI Sport for around 20k or a Rabbit edition for around 24k or I could spend twice as much get one less door and an unable back seat. Decisions, decisions.

Two different Mazda dealerships in my area and two different experiences. I was looking for a manual Mazda 3 and one dealership had to get their high pressure manager involved and get all my info first and then berate me for wanting a manual. I walked. The other was low pressure, friendly, showed me what they had and
