I’m guessing more like August of 93.
Can confirm, cheapness. I bought a 8 year old turbo model for less than 2k.
Low wage workers don’t care about stock, 401k, and prefer incentives. They care that their take home pay is enough to pay the rent, utlilities, pay for medical expenses, etc... Maybe pay that living wage and you might have less stressed, happier employees.
You had to pay a recycling fee for a battery? They get money for these. I just took a dead battery to NAPA and they gave me money off the new battery for the core charge. Even better if you have the time, take them to a junkyard. It was something like $1/pound last time I did it.
Did that in my Dodge as well. But a new $10 sensor is worth water, snow, ice, and slush magically shedding from my windshield.
When this article popped up in my newsfeed I mistook it for NWI Times.
I starred, but I'm calling shenanigans. These are all the prettier chrome bumpered models. I still see potential in the later C3s but that is mainly due to the cost of them. I can get a late 70s for less than 10k in good shape.
Drives me crazy. I’ve seen way too many fox body mustangs with carbureted motors. Aaargh, it already had a v8 with a reliable fuel injected set up and you tore it out because you couldn’t take a little extra time to figure it out. I'm ok with carburators, it just has to for the build.
So this was Kaiser's Jeep? Seems like this guy was born to open a Jeep.
Only get to the mid-60s, ha. I can only laugh for we are coming to the end of the glorious days off summer here in Chicagoland. Soon we will be in the midst of highs in the single digits and wind-chill in the negatives.
Answer is suck it up, save money, buy used trans, have independent mechanic install used trans, go back to driving car until negative equity is positive equity and then save at least 20% to put down on new car so the cycle doesn’t repeat itself.
I could be wrong but the way I read it he has a bad transmission in one of his cars so it is forcing him to drive his only other car the 15 year old Toyota. I think the Toyota comes with a 4 speed auto and he said the car in negative equity is a CVT.
I just mean it limits the audience for the sale. I'm not saying you shouldn't do it. But just like your example it may limit the pool of suitors 😋.
I’ve seen safety stars taken away for a lack of adaptive headlights. Now I think adaptive headlights are awesome and I’ve been looking at cars that come with them but I don’t think they are going to make me safer. I get that I should buy an 18 wheeler to drive around town because “safety” but I think at some point the…
Definitely vaped in. My question is what flavor?
I like the vehicle and can deal with the rims especially since the stocks come with it. But I never understand the idea of making your car (or home) so specific towards you the owner and then thinking that everyone will appreciate it and shower you with more money. I am imagining that the short throw shifter will need…
I, Dr.Jeckyl, promise not to feed the trolls. For trolls ruin the internet for everyone and are just bullies, angry at the world. There will be times that I will be fooled by trolls thinking they want to have a lively philosophical debate. However, I must do my research and determine their true intentions. I have far…
