I’ve had to use the hand brake as an emergency brake. It wasn’t until just now that I realized that cars don’t necessarily need an emergency brake anymore. They just need this parking brake. And for that purpose the electronic parking brake is wonderful. 

A friend of mine just explained this to me yesterday. He had this issue changing the rear brakes on his Audi. I then realized I’ve probably changed rear drum brakes more than rear discs. Man, I’ve got some old cars!!!

I’ve had that happen....Well maybe not that exactly but it is a pain when I park on a hill and the shifter likes to jam up if I don’t put on the parking brake.

I was looking at a manual ATS (not V) with red leather seats and it was stunning. But, I don’t know if I could get past the CUE and miniature trunk.

Let me guess, no more V sedans. Instead we will get an Escalade V and a crossover XTV. I had togoogle the model of their crossover because a.) I don’t care about their crossover and didn’t know the name and b.) jumbled letters are much harder to remember than actual names.

Same station more or less. They are back to playing alternative but the original Q101 went off the air and then this station by a different company debuted on 87.7 and then switched over to 101.1. It’s almost like they never left.

Herbie was probably the first car movie I watched and definately got me liking cars a little more. You get a star for Herbie and for owning the car I’m looking to buy a ‘17 GTI Sport.

I thought the same thing when I read that. At some point the purchaser has to make a financially responsible decision. However, I know plenty of people that rely on the bank to tell them how much car or house they can afford and then realize they don’t have enough to eat.

On one hand, I feel bad that people get themselves in these situations. On the other hand, if you don’t pay for things you don’t get to keep them. I pay for the things I have and I know if one day I could no longer make my mortgage payments I’d need to sell it, rent it, work a second job to afford it, or I’d lose it.

I’ve been missing that. They used to do it on 101.1 until they got rid of the morning DJs and started playing music.

Now to find the people that have the same musical tastes...

Totally get that. Too many people’s musical tastes end at their high school lot college years. I can’t go to see the bands I really like because I'dfeel like everyone would think I’m someone’s parent.
