Sounds par for the course for the area. But the Hoosier Helpers are awesome if they pass by. They are the highway helping crew for stranded motorists.
True. But think what would happen if fire extinguishers all had different handles and required you to read a manual before use. Instead there is a standard design and you just need to pull, aim, squeeze, and sweep. The fire extinguisher argument is kinda my point, standardization.
Wow, talk about a leap. I never said he should sue, did I? Perhaps, you should feel bad for your comprehension skills?
You won't die when those don't work. I'm okay with technology. I'm just not okay with someone don't because they get stuck in a car. We even put glow in the dark releases in trunks to prevent this from happening. If you want to do something like this it has to be really noticeable and 100% fool proof.
Yikes, looks like I-65. Guessing since you made it to 37th. I’ve broke down on that stretch before and people pay no attention if you are on the side of the road.
Meanwhile, I was having a discussion with a guy at work that needed new brake pads on his wife’s car. “Man, this is gonna cost me an arm and a leg.” I told him I just replaced my pads and rotors on my car for $150. Pads were less than$40. He’s too scared to do it himself. I need to find more people like this to hang…
“3) Buy the damn Challenger. You kids will love it.”
This is exactly the answer. Toyota cares about profits and it does well with that. Yes, Toyota makes boring cars and GM makes a better PHEV (Volt) and a pure electric vehicle (Bolt). But boring sells to the end consumer and the Prius still out sells both of the GM electrics and makes a tidy profit doing so. Meanwhile…
I’m glad I'm not the only one that thought of that.
I only wish this would happen to my car so I'd be able to convince myself to replace it. Rust takes out some body panels and I even have a rust hole in the hood but the car lives.
I agree, one should not have to know about a feature that you may use once in a decade. F this. This is a stupid design. Door handles should open doors end of story.
I’ve been debating on Mk6 vs. Mk7. Mk7 is what I really want but Mk6 could save me some $$$ and still be fun and practical. Down the auto trader rabbit hole I go.
Let me check my math...Audi isn’t competing well against BMW and Mercedes so VW wants to take an even lower market car and put it up against BMW? WHAT??? Isn’t VW supposed to be the volume brand? People in North America typically buy a bimmer or Mercedes because they are luxury cars. People in North America think of…
I think that’s the winning strategy. Make it awesome and only produce in low volumes. It’s a good call if it gets people to notice the brand and buy more FR Corvettes and Camaros.
Am I the only person that really wants this wrap on their daily? I mean look at all the attention my Cavalier would get if people thought it was a new prototype that was being hidden from the public.
Mine has 273k and I started driving it due to a long commute. I’ve come close to getting rid of it a few times recently but I still enjoy not having any payments. It is super reliable and I still see a ton on the road even though the newest one is 13 years old.
I still drive a Cav :(
Had to double check schedule, that opportunity comes next Sunday.
As a Bears fan, YAY we have a great player. Also, as a Bears fan, :( we still suck.
