True. I think more people need to look into private sales and get financed through the credit union. I have a ton of friends that think you can only buy private with cash so they go to the dealer and pay way more than they need to for a quality car.

Yep, I noticed that the credit unions near me either like to judge based on the age of the vehicle or the price. Newer/higher price gets lower rates. But I found that for a new car I could go with Regional for 2.74% for 60 (less for 48) or Tech for 3.99% for an older car.
