I was just thinking that the other days. I even see 80s Cavaliers and Civics rolling around as dailies. But I don't remember the last time I saw a Neon or for that matter a Caliber.

Word of mouth and independent. You have to start asking everyone you know and disregard any advise from someone that takes their car to the dealer or a chain. I got a guy who only does what is needed and charges fair prices. He also handles the fleet of vehicles I manage for work. He has called me to verify I have…
That sounds like a fun build. But where does one even find cheap Smart cars? If I can find cheap I might be willing to buy one. I tend to only see them at CarMax and they go for 10k. Never seen one on CL.
My thoughts exactly. How about instead of worrying about a problem that is super unlikely to happen we just try to be a bit less paranoid.
Good time to ask, are there any more Jason Drives in the works?
I was thinking GTI. But really could we just say Golf? Then we get the Sportwagen, eGolf, All track...
“rings up at about $23,000, the $24,000 SEL”
Plus, I could buy a used Volt for half the cost of this and drive on mostly the battery.
Buttons, I just want buttons. I don’t want a touch screen, I don’t want capacitive touch, I don’t want sloooow screens that you can pinch and move. I just want buttons and a way to hook up my device that already has those features. I was eyeing an ATS just the other day and couldn’t help but think it was a wonderful…
If a Nissan Juke and a Dodge Charger fell in love.
How about a Courier the size of a Subaru Baja with the price of a Focus? I had a Ranger and it was under 10k brand new. I know, I know the 90s were a different time. But, I just have no desire or need for a truck that is as big as these are with less utility than a minivan.
More power to anyone that can make a living full-time at it. I always say that if I lost my job I’d sign up for Uber. Gotta pay the bills somehow. But I couldn’t see doing it indefinitely. We just had someone quit to go drive for Uber, I said good luck doing it. You are leaving a full-time job with benefits.
Well it was a Sebring
Nowhere
I think the NVH of that thing would drive me crazy. I wonder what makes it that loud?
I never had the GM take them from me but he did suggest I hold on to the customer’s keys. I always preferred the much nicer tactic of giving them the keys and then suggesting they take the new car to lunch to think it over. When it works it works, can’t buy a car from someone else when your trade is at our dealership…
“I ended up not buying the car just out of sheer frustration.”
I remember eating there maybe 7 years ago. It had a new name but still had the Ponderosa menus and plates and all the food was basically the same as Ponderosa!
Just drove a 2018 with that combo. Manual, plaid, sunroof. Before this year you had to go without the roof or get leather. I’m okay without the sunroof. I’m still searching for a used 2017 sport though. It comes with the performance pack, lighting pack, plaid, unique wheels, and push button start.
The Chevy Express vans we have at work do this. However, the newer ProMasters do not. I find my self driving in the dark or in the rain without them on lot.
