When my wife and I were first dating back when this came out in the early 00s she really liked it and wanted one. Her reaction now, “they still make that?”

Good music is good. I don’t care if it’s a current Jack White song, Beasties from the 90s, the Stones from the 60s or Mozart in the... well hell I don’t know when Mozart was alive.

The Solo trailer without the Beastie Boys was good and I’m already gonna see the movie. But 100x better with Beasties.

A worn Chevy van/truck key will open most Chevy vans/trucks. Probably why they changed to a laser cut key a few years ago.

My wife’s Dodge does this.

I recently had to do number 7 on the expressway. Similar to number 6 a fuel pump can start working again after a good whack with the hammer as well.

If you have a newer Dodge sell it...Actually, if you have a Dodge that won’t start, can’t be jumped, and doesn’t even try to tun over even though all the accessories come on full power it might be the factory alarm was triggered. Put it in neutral and try it. I found this out after my wife’s car wouldn’t start as we

Chrysler products will display their code in the EVIC or by flashing the check engine light if you turn the car on/off three times. I’ve owned three Chrysler products and it worked in each one.

Repeat customers and family members of a dealership employee are not exempt from getting a bad deal. I sold Nissans years ago and I remember a deal that the GM handed me for a family member of the new F&I person. I figured it was a mini deal but they knew what they wanted and I was handed the sale. It was quick and

I think loving my ride is the biggest factor. I’ll need to go drive one, maybe once spring hits. I’ve been hearing that it gets better mileage than the EPA numbers and it has more horses as well. It’s almost like VW is under rating everything to make up for dieselgate.

Hearing much the same. FoSTs definately aren’t the most reliable either. But I can buy a 1-2 yo CPO with 100k mile warranty. Then again I’m always reminded of the guarantee scene from Tommy Boy.

Good point, I may just buy and see if they fool me once.

That’s what I hear. Better, faster, stronger, and more reliable than the Mk5 or Mk6. Can’t lie, still worried.

I rented an orange Challenger R/T while my car was in the shop and my 6yo keeps telling me I need an orange Challenger cause the color is awesome and he wants to go fast!!

The leg room while cramped was doable. The issue was I had to contort my head and swing forward then back to clear the door. Once in my head was above the door frame and rubbing the ceiling. I’m only 5'10".

I’m right there in the old category with you. Gotta have some baggy jeans but then tight roll the bottoms.

Need more green, orange, teal, etc... And less grey, black, and white vehicles.

I hear great things about the build quality and even the motor in the GTI. It’s just all the other little electrically bits and bobbles that I worry the most about.

It seems every time I read VW reviews someone mentions reliability. I’m in the market and thinking of GTI vs. FoST. All the journalists pour over the GTI. However, the same theme keeps coming up on the GTI forums. Of course, there will be problems at 30-50k miles. Buy new, don’t buy used. Make sure you get a
