I bet that guy thought, “I’m so glad I fired that asshole.” every year around tax time.

I went to the auto show this weekend and my wife commented that it looked kinda white, lol!! It must be the lights they had it under. After checking it out I think it has been struck off my list mainly due to the cramped back seat. I’m down to the FoST, none at the auto show???, and the GTI, way nicer than I was

What a d%^&. He buried his W-2s with the guy. That’s probably a Guiness record for grudge holding.

Heading to Chicago auto show this weekend to do the same. Right now I’m thinking a FoST will be finding a home in my garage this year. But gotta go check out the FiST, GTI, and this new Veloster. It’s different and I kinda like different. Then again I might just keep the high mileage rusty but trusty and get something

I think you got the nail onthe head. Star given for proper capitalization of Florida Man.

True the throttle body controls the air coming into the engine but the throttle position sensor would tell the computer how far the throttle is open and the computer will then regulate the fuel.

This actually happened to me on I-65 a few months ago. My accelerator cable snapped at WOT. I was merging onto the expressway and made it to the middle lane before I realized what happened. Quick check of floor mat, then I hit the brakes put the car in neutral and made my way to the shoulder and cut the car off. The

We just finished watching that movie a couple minutes ago. My 6 yo picked out out for movie night!

Much cooler than driving a 60 year old cougar...

I did. Gotta remember this was the ‘90s and neon on the car was still cool.

My old Ranger had 5th somewhere near the glove box. I banged my passengers knees more than once shifting. Plus bench seat so you really got to know the person sitting in the middle. But I couldn’t imagine needing a short shift to get the most from those 100 horses.

I have a 2009 loaded RT. Only thing missing are the nav and it’s FWD. Been a decent car for the last 10 years and 135k miles. It eats tie rods and FCA took over 2 years taking care of the recall but the uConnect infotainment system is better than what some manufacturers are putting out today and it’s... just okay and

It is.

2009 was the first year of the Journey and they went on sale in 08. How do I know you ask? I bought one new :(. Not my finest purchase ever. Even worse it replaced a Jeep XJ.

Anecdotal I know, but my car has a sealed trans and the manual states that the fluid doesn’t need to be changed. 266k later and the trans still shifts like new.

That’s my dream car. The color, rims, and especially the manual conversion are just what I’d want. I’ve been close to buying one several times. I can’t think of any other car that I’ve come close to buying several times but not done it. It’s been over a decade since I found a decent one, might be time to look again.

Don’t do it. I scrapped my first car that had been sitting in my garage for years. I didn’t want to tow it when I moved. Plus I was going from 2 2 car garages to just one 2 car garage so I had much less room to store it. My 6 year old reminds me I could’ve kept it and we could’ve fixed it. Makes me sad every time he

A buddy of mine had a blue 96 Cougar with blue leather and even carpet. He put some blue neon behind the grill as well. 4.6 motor, that car was awesome!

Years ago I remember calling around all the Blockbuster stores in the area because I had heard about this awesome chase scene. Finally after several calls I found it. I even asked the clerk if it was the one with Steve McQueen. They held it for me. I picked it up, took it home, and the video in the case was Bullet

Glad CCC is on Netflix, now I can delete Crackle from my Roku. Awesome job trying to unload the Scimtar and a subtle hint that he could use the Pao for an episode.
