As a fat gay man, I often daydream about if a genie were to grant me a wish, one would be that all mean fat-shamers, through the nuances experienced by all fat people through financial, metabolic, and other fat-causing reasons, to become fat and have to dig themselves out of it like me and other fat people.

There is nothing stopping her from having her own will, and having the stipulation that should something happen to both of them, then her sister would become guardian.   Her husband doesn’t even need to know that she had it drawn up.

I wonder: what will happen to your husband’s self worth and world view if he’s in an accident or becomes ill, and permanently gains weight?

Most of the time, parents need to approach differing opinions as a meeting of valid ideas to hash out an agreement. This is not one of those times. The writer’s husband is an asshole. There’s no middle ground here. It’s one thing to encourage your kid to live a healthy and active life. Teaching her that being

A man once told me that he would divorce me if I got fat. I am no longer with that man.

This person never explains why they love their husband, only that they do. And the closest thing to a positive trait the husband has is that they are “active.” I wonder why they are married? I am having a hard time believing that this is the only thing their husband is a dick about. I love Brandy’s answer in that

Yes. Yes, yes, and yes some more. And that she KNOWS this is why he has an issue with her sister means it’s been discussed — a LOT. So I wonder how her husband treats her, and how that affects the way she sees her own body. What she’s clearly saying is that her husband wouldn’t love her if she gained weight. I wonder

Jesus Christ. Why haven’t men died off yet?

Must have been quite the job interview.

It’s the American Dream...a plucky immigrant comes to these shores and through determination and a little luck carves out a new life. Good for you, old chap.

She once referred to Nanjiani as “the worst”. Considering that she was working with TJ Miller (who is a violent monster) and Middleditch (apparently some kind of pervy sex predator), what does “the worst” mean? Like, he used the last of the coffee creamer? Or he’s a serial killer?

And this is why guys who get all squirmy and scared whenever the topic of #MeToo comes up should always be suspect.

He looks like he’s both a sailor and a ballet dancer and terrible at both

Thomas Middleditch description dunking thread:

“Military” is a pretty transferable skill set. It’s not nothing, for sure. And establishing the Invictus Games is a HUGE bit of work experience that sounds like it will transfer well to his new work.

All of his work promoting mental health as a royal is also exactly right in line with this new job.

I’m not entirely

There’s a lot missing from this piece, honestly, and it’s worse than you’d think.

Something about this guy’s vibe has always seemed... off. It was the interview about his kinda/sorta open marriage that made the perceived sliminess seem certain.  These allegations are disgusting, but wholly unsurprising.

I think what’s impossible here is making them care that they are the problem. I think at some level most of them understand this is not a smart thing in the middle of a pandemic but they just don’t give a fuck because they assume anyone who complains is a liberal, and for this death cult the ultimate prize is making

I don’t think they’re trying to convince anyone he has a choice about it. It’s one of the British monarchy’s most foundational myths about itself, since at least the start of George VI’s reign, ‘we didn’t ask for this, but we shall bear our duty with a stiff upper lip, because we just care so too much’.

Question about “billionaires” like Kylie.

Isn’t their wealth tied up in the value of their businesses? As in, her stock options and her business property stuff all add up to almost a billion?

She ought to have enough to pay this guys surgery, and she ought to have done it. But I’m curious about how liquid her cash
