I really like the current U.S Mail trucks that they use. I wouldn’t want to daily drive one, but it would be a great vehicle for car camping or taking to music festivals or tailgating at a sporting event.

Time for them to step up, not us. Exactly. There’s no need for the U.S. to defend Europe or any other place in the world—they need to take care of themselves. Did you know that we spend more each year on military bands than many of our NATO allies spend on their entire annual military budget? We spend over $437…
If you’re in Nebraska and need a vacation you should go to Lake McConaughy. That place is amazing and you could easily pretend that you’re in Hawaii. I’m in Topeka, and if that place was on the eastern side of your state I’d go there several times a year.
Considering how much cheaper a vinyl wrap is than a custom mural I think that we will.
I know, right? It sucks that we’re forced to read every single thing posted to Jalopnik’s homepage. I really wish there was something that we could do to stop that from happening.
Hillary lost by 41,000 votes in 08.... just for your reference.
Wow. That’s really something. I don’t know what’s more insane, the vehicle or the mural. Each one on its own is pretty bonkers but together it just takes your breath away, and not in a good way.
I can’t decide if that’s awesome or horrible, but I guess that makes it a successful build.
We were in high school and barely had money for pot, so we sure as hell weren’t going to spend money on screens. And now that I think about it, I don’t know if it ever occurred to me that you could just buy the screens. Stealing screens was what I was taught and I didn’t question it. :)
seedy Mexican brick that had long ago stopped smelling like much of anything.
That’s a tough situation to be in—disabled and given an opportunity to regain your ability but with a chance that you’ll become even more disabled. I don’t know what I’d do, but I know it’d be an agonizing decision filled with second-guessing if it went wrong or what-ifs if you never had the surgery.
You glorious bastard! I had completely forgotten about that shitstorm and you brought back many funny memories. I’m not sure which surprises me more—that Manti Teo is still in the NFL or that he’s still in the closet.
Good to know. That seems like a defect that they should have addressed before selling the thing.

At some you can see the whole track, but not all. At Indy they’ve got a golf course in the middle (well, a few holes of it) so you’d think that some track would try putting the spectators in the middle.
That sounds so brilliantly simple that there must be some reason that they’re not doing it. Anyone know why they don’t do this?
80 consecutive quarter mile runs to burn through an entire tank of gas
It’s the guy who used to own (or maybe just run) KCIR. He might be able to turn it around, but the owner needs to be someone who isn’t looking to make money and is willing to lose money most years.
Is that blue and purple on the exhaust normal?
Even though he didn’t say it, solar panels on a car would be awesome even if just to charge a battery for peripheral devices. And I hope that Musk or someone else can figure out a way to use the heat generated inside of a car while it’s parked. There’s got to be a way to harness that energy and use it for something.
I didn’t know about that. Thanks!
