Plenty of powerful people have gotten away with crimes just by saying “I don’t recall” so I don’t know how this is any different. If someone says that they can’t remember something you can’t prove that they’re lying.

Could Mazda sell a Miata with pop-up headlights here in the U.S.? They’re not made because of European passenger impact standards, right? It’s pretty amazing when you think about it. If that was police helicopter footage of a stolen car driving on a similar road and that happened both people would have either died or been seriously injured.
