That’s funny. But at least you’ve got a soft top on it—all of ‘em I see around here have hard tops that never come off. And this is probably sexist or patriarchal or whatever, but “mom’s” car should be the one for hauling the kids around and “dad’s” car should be the little sporty car. That’s the way that it was when

Such a good looking car. I don’t know about you, but the four-door Wranglers with hard tops have become so common around my town that for me it’s actually a surprise to see a real Jeep.

I e-mailed my mom a link to this article and asked her why she stopped buying Longaberger baskets, and she said that after the owner died the quality went downhill and they tried to diversify too much.

The linked article mentions the economy as part of Longaberger’s trouble, but I wonder if baskets have just fallen out of style? My mom was a HUGE Longaberger buyer but she probably hasn’t bought any in over 15 years because she’s got too many as it is and doesn’t have anywhere to put a lot of her baskets or have uses

they’re the 4th most popular premium brand in the US and trending up.

Call this thing a Chevy Sonic and bring it here as-is. They could keep the Opel badge on the front and call it a Sonic badge (like they do with the Impala and maybe others I can’t think of right now) and a bowtie and “Chevrolet” somewhere on the back and it’d be better than any small car they have right now.

I’ve wondered about that too. On the one hand you’d think that they’d love it and give him some cash for the good publicity, but on the other hand they’d rather sell new cars instead of advertising that 20 year old Jeeps are something that people should buy. I wonder how much they care about used Jeeps and how much

No matter how old it is, it’s always new to someone! I’ve never seen that before.

I hope that there’s not a letdown, but I AM sad that this journey is over...although this was a great way to cap it off!

If it took him “hundreds” of hours I’m sure that it would take your mechanic a small fraction of that time. ;)

Because genuine racing car, luggage should I mean, tying the roof carrier.

All the fags need to be castrated and put in general population in the penitentiary.

When you think about it, about half of the people who modify their vehicles make them worse to drive. Lowriders, cars with 24" wheels, hella-flush cars, and those are just the ones off the top of my head. People are weird, that’s the only answer to your question.

Depending on the person, ANYTHING can be used rectally.

I wonder if they do this to improve their overall safety score? Hatchbacks get horrible rear-collision safety ratings, so maybe adding on the trunk adds more crumple zones to the car?

I don’t like most new GM cars and I don’t really like the old Trans Am, but that new one is pretty damned sweet.

CP. And is there a word for when a guy puts a high price on a car in order to “put it up for sale” to appease their wife/girlfriend but the high price ensures that the car won’t sell? I don’t know if this is one of those situations, but it kinda seems like it.

I just started watching rallycross last year so this is all new to me, and I’ll be interested to see how a coupe will perform against all of the hatchbacks in GRC. When I read that Honda was getting into GRC I was hoping that they’d use it as an opportunity to bring back the CRX, but it’s nice to get another car

Trump yeah, indeed.

That’s what I was afraid of too. I’ve got an old hand-me-down Kindle that I never use, so this shouldn’t be a big deal for me since I’ll never use any Amazon services for the thing.
