It’s pretty amazing what you can do with a Beetle. It’s too bad that there’s not a similar car today that’s so cheap, easy to fix, and easy to modify in so many ways.
Maybe, but my car’s a 2008 and I just went over 50,000 earlier this month.
I was ready to vote NP until I saw that it didn’t have 4wd and it has 128k miles, so the price is about $1500 too high in my opinion. If it had 4wd I’d vote NP even with all those miles, but no 4wd equals CP for it.

Is anyone else having problems with Kinja right now? When I make a comment it posts the comment but keeps the area where I was typing.
Ford Pinto. I’m not ashamed to admit that I love Ford Pintos.
Agree with everything but the red stitching. My car has red stitching on the steering wheel and shifter boot and they’ve both faded to white (it’s a 2008 and the interior has other red accents, but they’re still all okay). Maybe it’s because my car was cheap and it’s not a problem with a quality car like a VW, but…
I was wondering what all that crap was too, so I clicked on the Instrutables link and in the comments he mentions that it’s a router, modem, surge protector, external hard drive, a storage link to connect the HD to the wireless network, and a box for Vonage.
If he still had an agent I’m sure that’s what the agent would be telling the media. Either that, or that he was doing research for an upcoming role as a white trash meth head.
It was probably just a nerd test, and you passed/failed it.
Probably just more dashcams. I just wish that the guy in the Porsche had a dashcam too!
That’s amazingly low mileage! Since it’s got 4 wheel drive it’d be great to turn into an RV.
“the first guy to just drive on past”
Amazing! Now that I think about it, I’m not sure which would be more awesome—having a picture of your vehicle on the model’s box or having a model of a machine/vehicle that you helped design. Both are incredible, and both are something that an unrealistically tiny number of people can lay claim to, so you are a very…
I was curious too, so I Googled it:
Did anyone else build models for the sole purpose of blowing them up on the Fourth of July? And was anyone else a young pyromaniac and squeezed model glue inside of them to get better flames?
