And you thought Eisenberg was pretentious. Well is there anything pretentious about doing a prestige film about a mime?

Dwayne, I like you, but fuck off. We are not doing this. We are not joking about this. We've lost the right to joke about any presidential candidates, because we've proven that we're stupid enough to go through with it, and you cannot be President. Yes, you are better than Trump. Everybody is better than Trump. No you…
Okay but he doesn't do anything with that. All He does is live as a gardener. He just wants to be fast but he doesn't want to actually compete? I feel like maybe there was a deleted scene explaining what phase 2 of his particular switch is. Giving yourself a new body so you can be young again makes sense, but not if…
This movie is really, really good, but I still don't totally get the motivation behind what the white people are doing here. They're putting their brains in the bodies of black people, because they're a stronger race, and they're going to use those new bodies do…perform menial chores? That's kind of odd, right? The…
There was a kid in my school who had a Spin Doctors shirt. He was extremely cool.
That's the first time lighter and Ailes were found together in the same sentence. Will wonders never cease?
He's still alive
I haven't red Last Girlfriend on Earth, but I'll say that this book had one joke. And good as it was, it was stretched pretty thin over a really short book. Seven episodes seems like a hell of a grind. I could see maybe an 85 minute movie.
People aren't mixed on Spider Man 3. They hate it.
He was loyal to Leno, so he can't be taken as totally impartial. But his point that you don't take out the industry leader for the sake of change remains valid.
Which was stupid. To quote Seinfeld yet again, nobody cares about the brand. Nobody said "I'm doing the Tonight Show" or "I'm doing Late Night." They said "I'm doing Leno." It's the host. The good thing is that Conan appears to have found his place, and he gets to do the show his way. For a lot less money, I'm sure,…
No, it is clear. It's come out after the fact that he was indeed forced out. Bill Carter's The War For Late Night lays it out pretty unambiguously. NBC forced him out because they were afraid of losing Conan. And Conan's people were stupid enough to sign the deal without a time slot guarantee, which is standard for…
NBC was stupid for forcing Leno out when he'd won the ratings war for the better part of two decades. Seinfeld had the best take when he said you don't just tell somebody who is winning his time slot that they have to go.
They're too late. What in God's Name was published in 2012. Your Pretty Face showed up in 2013.
What in God's Name could barely stretch it's premise through the very short novel. It's pretty shallow waters to base a seven episode show off of. It was a solid premise though, and it's a fun little book if you've got a few hours to kill.
I assume this is an insurance payout scheme.
When Tom Arnold is far and away the voice of reason and stability…
Roseanne was (is?) completely off the rails. I don't know how much any of us actually agree with her on. Just a carnival of lunacy between the ears.
Bright side: People with opinions about The Inhumans are home on Friday night.
You guys are all in on this PWR BTTM story.
