"Counterpoint: No. Shut up you fool. She's fine and everything is great."- Her accountant.

It's been 32 years and to this day I still can't hear Ray Parker Jr's Ghostbusters without thinking about the movie Ghostbusters.

Motherfucking Spirit in the Sky. What's it gonna take? When are we going to stop playing this shitty, lazy, plodding song in every fucking movie? It's not a good song. You've just heard it so many times that you think it's a classic, but it fucking sucks. The promising opening riff goes nowhere. The lyrics are

Well the Perry Bible Fellowship produces a new strip every 40 weeks, so there is something to be said for a guy cranking things out every day.

Do you ever think Mac is gay?

BoJack. I don't care if it just came out. You knew it was coming last weekend. You could have held back. It's late but as of right now it's the best piece of pop culture, and I will not cotton any dissent.

I lost interest in Made in America almost immediately. It was okay but I was OJ'd out after the excellent The People Versus. And I've got a ton of documentaries to watch anyway. I really want Nathan Lane to get an F. Lee Bailey spin off show.

Good until you remember that Iron Man could just hang back and ka-pew, ka-pew the both of them from 20 yards away to win the fight. The movie insists that it's characters conveniently forget their strengths to make a compelling fight scene.

Even if you do get the jokes (I feel like I get 80% of these) reference humor has diminishing returns. And I can tell from the pace of the dialogue in the examples (fast, a little too clever for real life, forced) that I would be deeply annoyed by these characters.

I think the Circle was about 5 years too late to be great. All the drama or twists are things everybody already knows about social media or silicon valley types. Silicon Valley the show still manages to teach me a few new things every episode.
I like Eggers enough. Way more than Fransen who I cannot get more than two

BoJack Horseman. Come on. This list is stupid without it. I really enjoyed BoJack Weekend these past few days.

That's how you forgot that Delaware is a state? Man, that movie has not aged well at all.

Just finished season 3. It's perfect. It's my favorite thing and I can't wait for next season.

I remember that. But if that show were on today we'd probably get a full season dedicated to BLM. And I think it would have been solid.

Just because it hasn't, doesn't mean it can't. I'm sure the Wire would have knocked the BLM movement out of the park. And I'm not even that big of a Wire fan (I mean it's good, but it's not the greatest show ever IMO).

I believe it's an app where gay men arrange casual sex.

Of course that didn't really work out for Lowtax.

Nope. Mega Man's message is that you should buy another controller because that one is fucked.

I'm reading Notes From a Coma, which doesn't really deliver on its premise. That's okay because the normal literary stuff is done well enough. The problem is that it's covered in footnotes, which I can only assume are the actual comatose notes. These notes only take me out of the story being told though, so I've
