Tropic Thunder and Sarah Marshall probably belong, but there are others on the list that are more egregious than Silver Linings Playbook. It did have funny moments. I'd certainly call it a funnier movie than Sideways or Little Miss Sunshine.

Old School front loaded all of their comedy in the first 30 minutes. After that it's pretty worthless. Sarah Marshall was pretty good. Shreck is so dated its unwatchable now.

The best part about this list is that I can read the selections and know who fucked up the list the first time around.

Rob Riggle is busy making everybody he's in a scene with appear to be much funnier than they are. That's usually a credit to the performer, but in this case it's a testament to how truly unfunny Rob Riggle is in every situation.

Michelle Rodriguez

Man, I didn't. I was 6 at the time and he killed me. Then I watched it in 2000 and had my mind blown.

Now go watch ALF. (I'll wait…)

Few things though: I didn't think Ghostbusters 2 sucked. It wasn't as good, but it was fine.
Also, Aykroyd was a fucking crazy person and his scripts have always needed more than a bit of reworking.

It's a pretty hard left turn. How about Kick Ass? I don't think that made this list. ( Not scrolling through again)

I didn't like The Hangover, but I have to feel like it belongs here given how many other people flipped their shit before the second movie backlash. Super Troopers belongs. Napoleon Dynamite belongs. 21 Jump Street. Fuck it, I thought the new Pee Wee Herman was pretty great. Do we want to count Super or was that too

That's the joke. Because it was in reference to Juno.

Has anybody ever watched Sideways a 2nd time? It was fine with good performances, but when is somebody in the mood for a repeat viewing of Sideways?

I really like it, and chalk it up to his having set an unreasonably high bar. I don't think it matches Best In Show, but it's great.

Not a comedy, not that great, sundance bullshit, didn't see it, totes magotes annoying, blatant oscar bait quirkedy, BLATANT OSCAR BAIT, smug literary porn, really great movie, a collection of scenes that didn't make a cool movie, and not a comedy.

To me there is a difference between movies that had funny moments and a comedy. I don't think Ocean's Eleven or In Bruges are comedies. This is the kind of logic where you end up having the Martian win comedy awards.

It's a pretty shitty song.

Probably. I don't really have any beef with Millennials, but that's probably what people are really saying when they say Millennials suck. Personally, I think Millennials are pretty cool about not being racist pieces of shit. And my generation listened to fucking nu metal, so fuck us acting superior.

I think you're overestimating the importance of generations. I think if you were in high school by 9/11, you're probably aged out of being a Millennial. Technically it's anybody born after 1982, but that seems arbitrary and not what we think of when we think of Millennials. That means some Millennials are 34 years

True Millennials were too young. I'm born 1980, so not really either generation. I think I was 8 when the TMNT cartoons started airing, and 13 when Jurassic Park hit theaters. I don't really think of somebody as a Millennial unless they were born 1988 or later.

Hm, I thought we had a few more years, but I knew this was coming for a while. Limp Bizkit is having their nostalgic revival. Phase I is the apologist essays. After that we'll get the Guilty Pleasure admissions. Next summer they'll headline State Fairs. By 2018…fuck man.
