We’re gonna die!
Came here to ask the same thing!
But...is there some advantage other than ease of installation? Regular interlocking laminate floors are pretty darn simple to install. You’d still have to cut your magnetic sections to fit close to the walls of your room, and you’d still have to come back afterwards with baseboard or quarter-round.
Not that I condone any of this, but I believe what is not written in his use case is that he’s backfeeding through a 220V outlet (while his warning is to not exceed 1500W through a 110V outlet, which would have lower amperage (i.e. higher gauge) cabling more in risk of catching fire).
I thought it was the Masterclass logo...
Agree that the starburst is an artifact of the mirror PSF. I work in ultrasound, the physics of which is analogous to optics in many ways...but ultrasound transducers are usually designed with a pseudo-random aperture (ie mirror pattern, in optics) to disrupt this regular interference pattern...I wonder why this…
“worst outbreak” in China is equivalent to one of the best COVID days in almost 2 years in the US...
Ah, yeah, my parents did that to me, and I kind of resented it. Then I got a dog of my own as an adult and enjoyed it...before I had kids. I refused to do the allergy thing to my son, which meant we did get a puppy (recently, actually), and when he saw how much work he signed up for he was on board when we set about…

That’s not an expensive parking fee...where I am (big state university) it’s $80+ a month...and fines of well over $100 per infraction for parking without a permit tag.
no, that (I believe) was to ensure health professionals had access to PPE...in other words, it was to avoid a surge in demand from the general public that would have caused a (even greater) shortage in PPE for hospitals.

“$200 million doses” probably doesn’t need the dollar sign, given the article goes on to say the Trump administration bought half that amount, permitting 50 million americans to be vaccinated (with both shots).
No kidding - that’s the direction I usually go once the password requirements get too complex. Usually more like “F*ckThisPassword!” -- Passive aggressive release of frustration :-)
