also “the Dennis Rader” instead of just “Dennis Rader”.

Came here to say the same - though not a “protected class”, it looks like discrimination to me!

But...is there some advantage other than ease of installation? Regular interlocking laminate floors are pretty darn simple to install. You’d still have to cut your magnetic sections to fit close to the walls of your room, and you’d still have to come back afterwards with baseboard or quarter-round.

Ah, yeah, my parents did that to me, and I kind of resented it. Then I got a dog of my own as an adult and enjoyed it...before I had kids.  I refused to do the allergy thing to my son, which meant we did get a puppy (recently, actually), and when he saw how much work he signed up for he was on board when we set about

This is genius - I’ll be teaching my 8-year-old about George Bush next time he lets something %^&* slip!

Or just buy a Macbook Air for the same price (or less) with more features, functionality, and the included keyboard...geez, I must be getting old or something.

That’s not an expensive parking fee...where I am (big state university) it’s $80+ a month...and fines of well over $100 per infraction for parking without a permit tag.

“$200 million doses” probably doesn’t need the dollar sign, given the article goes on to say the Trump administration bought half that amount, permitting 50 million americans to be vaccinated (with both shots).

PSA - Thanksgiving flavored (a.k.a. pumpkin spice) drip coffee at home also sucks...unless, perhaps, you go through the rigamarole of making your own pumpkin spice whipped cream to top it off...never got that far.

I’m a frequent aisle-seat-traveler because I do get up to walk occasionally and prefer to be inconvenienced (by the middle or window-seat folks) than to inconvenience others...but getting up every 30 minutes? On a red-eye I’d be giving you the stink-eye :-)

...but I thought some of the benefit of ice coffee is that you brew the coffee cold, generally overnight, and end up with more caffeine in the finished product. This presumably wouldn’t happen with chilled hot-brewed coffee.

For what it’s worth, I tried these back-to-back against the Bose, and in my opinion Bose still wins out. Just bought a pair. With this category of device, it’s really down to personal preference...try before you buy.

Looks like both are available at the moment...

I’m all for choosing to be at an airport if that’s your thing, but the unavoidable (or very-expensive-to-avoid) 12-hour layovers from 11pm to 11am in that country where you didn’t get the right visa to leave the airport...no fun. All the airport entertainment will be closed, and there’s no comfortable place to sleep.

Agree, I would have chosen to flip the color scale. By the way, this looks like a population density map...

There’s also a start-up developing a reversible vasectomy...so essentially a male birth control: http://contraline.com

If you don’t fit into a coach seat, it’s time to pay for more space. I paid to have a seat that reclines, and recline I will.

That’s to simulate acceleration and deceleration...
